Heating up!

Our House is KIND of coming along. The outside bricking has started, but the inside is still unchanged. We have added quite a few things over the last month or 2 though, so  it is taking time to make the changes on the inside. It is killing me to go by and nothing is changed. Anyway, we are still about 2 months away it is looking like... HURRY UP!
I am grateful for a place to stay right now, but I am so anxious to get into my own space. I broke down today to Brian and just cried and cried. I am just so emotional and grumpy and on edge and it is killing me. I just want to be in my own house where I can let it get messy and loud and let the laundry go if I dont want to do it. Again, I am so grateful for a great place to stay but I cant wait to move into our house!
I took the kids for Snow Cones today. Man, the way that they do that ice is just so good. I could eat just the straight ice and enjoy it just as much. I cant wait for next summer, for those who don't know, Brian is opening a snow cone shop and that means as many snow cones as I want! Really, it'll be great.  It has been 15 days of over 100 degree weather, so we have the same weather (104) all week until Sunday... If we want to break our record from last summer we have another 2 weeks or so to go after that! Ug, it kills me. I got the worst migraine today and It was from the mixture of allergies, heat, and Boots.

YUCK! That heat sounds awful. Is Texas really humid? Florida is SO HUMID it drives me insane. We get these random rain storms in the late afternoon for about an hour everyday and it just traps the humidity. It is soooo disgusting sometimes walking outside. While I want to go out and about and get things done, all I want to do is sit in front of my fan and stay cool!

The house looks great! Hang in there. I'm sure it is so annoying having to wait. Maybe make it a goal to only see it once a week? Or Once every 2 weeks? You don't want to get so disappointed every time so if you don't see it as much, then you'll be happily surprised every time to see the progress!

Ooooh...I'm so jealous of the new house!! I haven't lived in a brand new house for way too many years, and I've got a craving!! It'll be so nice!

I'm also so jealous of the snowcone shop!!

I can totally relate to needing your own space. We just hit the two-year mark of living with John's parents and moving isn't on the horizon until January! It's definitely hard, for all of the reasons that you mentioned and more. But hang in there. You are such a happy and positive person that I have total faith that you can get through this with grace.

Congrats on the new house, it looks awesome! And that's awesome about the sno cone shop - we'll have to try it out. We keep talking about starting a donut shop, so it's fun to hear of someone else living out their dreams! Love ya!
