Back in the saddle

Working out and eating healthy to lose weight really sucks. I love food and I think I might be a little bit lazy. I always want to sleep in but I know if I want to get a workout in I have to get up and get going.
I always feel better after a workout, it's just getting to that point. Now that I have been out of the loop of eating well and working out it is hard to get back in.
But I am feeling good and really want to get this baby weight off. So I have been doing T 25, and I'm going to sign up for a half marathon at the end of May with Libby. I am counting calories and I am always shocked at how low my calories are - that I am allowed. I mean, I always want more! But I just have to keep telling myself that I can do it. I know that I am not starving myself for the rest of my life, I just have to say no to treats and suites an extra helpings. I need to eat more fruit and vegetables, and just be a little bit more cautious about what I am putting into my body.

As for life around the house, it pretty much has everything to do with poppy. All of our lives revolve around the sweet angel. I took her in for her two month doctors appointment and she weighed in at 9 lbs. 1 oz. She is gaining the bare minimum of a half an ounce a day, so the doctor was not worried about her. She is still so tiny and barely is fitting into her 0 to 3 months clothing.
My amazingly talented brother Brian, sent me this beautiful knitted blanket for the baby. He is an ER doctor and to keep his dexterity sharp he minutes. I love this little baby blanket that he made for sweet poppy. What a great brother I have!! To take the time out of his busy life and schedule and away from his family to make us a special blanket will be something that she will cherish forever.

The rest of my life has been complete chaos. I have been back to work and I am very busy listing houses and showing houses. I feel very blessed to have a husband and family who is so supportive of me and my job. It is still a lot of fun and I am really enjoying it. My calling in the stake young women's is always fun and always busy. I love the ladies I work with and I'm really enjoying being in a brand-new stake!

I feel very blessed in my life. I know that heavenly father loves me and my family and who thinks about us and wants us to be happy. To quote one of my favorite songs, "I have a life that's good".
