We then changed things up and tried warm water. Boots was soaked but alas... Out came two big chunks of silly putty. Another hour later he felt as if he got most of it out.

Silly boy
Last night boots was complaining that his ear was bothering him and he couldn't hear... After checking it out he finally confessed that he had used silly putty as ear plugs earlier to drown out Courtney's singing. Side note, and is always talking and always singing. Anyway, as I looked inside his ear with my phone flashlight, I saw something odd that looked like flesh... It indeed was silly putty lodged into both ears very deep. Uncle Sean came over for a look and after using tweezers and a make shift tool out of an old earing, and an hour later we hadn't made any progress. About 3 hours later boots and I went out to Libby's where he had his ear thingy... And that's the medical term! And he used our earing contraption with not much luck again. As he looked into his ear he was convinced we would have to go to an ENT and have boots sedated as it was coating the ear drum quite badly. The next step was flushing. He used a baby medicine syringe and flushed with ice water about 40 times. Boots was bawling.
Sunday, March 27
I'm just tired.
I have been completely out of the blogging for months and I am so mad at myself for getting so far behind.
Christmas was great and New Years was great. But now it's March, and almost April!!! A lot has happened since then and poppy seems to now be a teenager!
All the girls went to American girl for lunch to celebrate Taylor and carleighs birthdays and it was fun as always!! I never grew up with it so I somehow always feel suckered in to buying stuff!
Courtney's personalities seem to be getting bigger if that is even possible! She is soooo mature for her age and really drives me up the wall but I love that girl. We went to he dentist last week where she promptly told the dentist that she never brushes her teeth. Today while at the haslams for Easter she told the adults she sometimes eats her boogers. EW!
Nat is the one with all the drama!! She is drama first off but now she has been diagnosed with dyslexia and it is a challenge already to try and figure it all out. The schools here have a fantastic program which she is known sink hope that helps. She is so smart, she just needs to learn some techniques.
Lastly, boots and poppy. Sweet and 2 little peas in the pod. They make me so happy, well all of them do but these two are just easy going and pretty darling.

Poppy is about a month away from going to nursery and I am so anxious for it! She is horrible in church. It makes me wonder why I am even there. She is saying hi bye bye, bottle, boots, Natalie, dada, mama, nana, no, she makes a dog noise and car noise. She does lots of dancing and singing to music, and then she is trying to climb on everything. She also does sign language for food and milk. She's practically a genius!!

Christmas break
I am SO behind on this!!!!! But here is my Christmas post.
It was wonderful to have so much family around but it was actually very difficult for me to juggle it all.
With both sides of the family here I had a small, or larger than small, break down!!! It gave me so much anxiety! I love everyone but sometimes there is too much too close. I needed a family break.
It was wonderful though. Christmas Eve was over at our house with all of the Millers. We did a whole bunch of appetizers, nativity pageant, singing, Christmas bells, and then opening jammies! As per our own family tradition all of the kids minus the baby slept in our room that night. Christmas day was wonderful. I always love to see my kids faces when they see all of their presents! That is something that never gets old. We went to the Rawlins for lunch, to which I brought my very own new professional crêpe maker!!! Thanks to hun. We had a root beer taste test and presents.
Then we headed to my moms for Miller Christmas dinner and more presents!! It was busy and fun.
Main event, and then a New Years polar plunge at the craguns was on the agenda. New Year's Eve events were fun with lanterns the kids got to send off in the night. We had them write their wishes on them. Courtney wished for a new baby brother... Nice try!
Brian and I went to the temple 3 times over the break. More tHan we would typically go but it was great! Fogo de chao to celebrate brians birthday and lots of laughs and marbles!! It was fantastic. But I was ready for school to be back in!!
